Dave Spencer Biography

Dave Spencer is a well-known American journalist who currently works for Fox 2 News in Detroit as a weekend anchor and weekday reporter. Spencer began his career as a journalist in Lansing, Michigan. Dave worked as a reporter in Lexington, Kentucky for five years before joining Fox 2 News.

It took him 13 years to learn the ropes, but he's finally home doing what he loves! Dave returned to Detroit as a reporter just in time to see a city in the midst of rebuilding.

Dave got his start in TV in Lansing after growing up in Troy and attending MSU (Go Green!). After that, he went to horse country, spending time in Lexington, Kentucky. Spencer recognized that he was 100% Michigan when he took a job in Grand Rapids that brought him closer to home.
