Kenny played in one game as a freshman and caught a 15-yard pass before redshirting the season to switch from wide receiver to tight end. In Kenny's breakout season, he had 14 receptions for 136 yards. Yeboah finished his redshirt sophomore season with 13 catches for a touchdown and 154 yards. Kenny entered the transfer window to play for a different program for his final season of postseason eligibility.
At first, Kenny committed to transfer to Baylor to play for Matt Rhule, who had previously coached him at Temple, although after Rhule left the school to become the head coach of the Carolina Panthers, Kenny decommitted. In the end, Kenny transferred to Ole Miss for his final season. Kenny finished the season with 27 receptions for six touchdowns and 524 yards. Yeboah revealed on December 17, 2020, that he waived the remainder of the 2020 season and would enter the 2021 NFL Draft.
On May 7, 2021, Kenny was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets. On August 31, 2021, Kenny resigned and was re-signed to the practice squad the next day. On October 9, 2021, Kenny was promoted to the active roster for the team's Week 5 game against the Atlanta Falcons, and in the game, he made his NFL debut. The Jets signed Kenny to their active roster on November 16, 2021. Kenny caught his first two NFL receptions for a total of 36 yards, both from quarterback Zach Wilson in a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on January 2, 2022 .
